2020 has proven a wild year for preconstruction investments. While rents in Toronto have dropped up to 17%, Oakville rents have only dropped around 5%. This year has shown us that the Toronto rental market is driven by immigration, students, Airbnb, and tenants who are easily impacted by economic fluctuations.
